I Canceled my Auto policy because they wouldn't insure a car I bought with a rebuilt title. They wouldn't send back the premium payment until I sent in my new policy information, which I did several times.

They said they must have lost the info in their system. I am still waiting for the money three months later. This is very upsetting to me since I sent in my payments on time for many years.

It seems to me that a company as large as The Hartford Auto Insurance Company would honor their obligation and send back money they they didn't have a right to. They seem to be stalling just so I might change my mind and renew the policy.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $385.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Customer service.
